CHITRA - KATHA
Not just a calendar, a year illustrated in stories.
Chitra-Katha brings together twelve hand-sketched narratives, each drawn from a different Indian art form and centred around a distinct human presence - in motion, in ritual, in pause. Together, they celebrate how humans are uniquely imagined, performed, and expressed across Indian art forms, reflecting how one land speaks through many forms, gestures, and imaginations.
Every page is made slowly. Figures sourced from actual indian artworks, dates are written by hand, and no story is ever repeated. This is not meant to be checked off daily, but to sit with you, to be noticed, returned to, and lived with. Chitra-Katha doesn’t measure a year; it gives it a presence.
