1. Shipping & Dispatch Timelines

Because Kathakaar Studio furniture involves handcrafted care and specialized wood treatment, our dispatch timelines ensure every item meets high structural and finish standards before leaving our warehouse.

  • Standard Dispatch Lead Time: Orders are generally dispatched within 7–10 business days from order confirmation. Please note that dispatch timelines may vary depending on the item, and the estimated timeline for each product is explicitly stated on its product detail page.
  • Transit Timelines Across India: Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 3–5 business days in major metro cities and 5–8 business days in other regional areas across India.
  • Order Tracking Information: As soon as your shipment is handed over to our courier partner, you will receive real-time tracking credentials via SMS and email.
  • Logistical & Weather Delays: Delivery timelines may occasionally experience delays due to adverse weather conditions, regional courier disruptions, or force majeure events beyond our reasonable control. Our support team will proactively keep you updated.

2. Product Assembly Guidelines

To safeguard solid wood furniture during transit, select items are shipped in knockdown form with protective flat packing.

  • Instructional Assembly Support: A step-by-step assembly video or guide will be shared alongside your order details to assist with seamless self-installation.
  • Customer Responsibility: Product assembly is the sole responsibility of the customer. In-person assembly services or technician visits are not included as part of our standard product delivery.

3. Premises Delivery & Entryway Fit Responsibility

Customer Entryway & Size Verification Mandate:

Furniture that is refused or returned because it cannot pass through an entryway, doorway, elevator, or stairwell will be the customer’s full responsibility. We strongly advise carefully measuring product dimensions and checking your premises prior to ordering.

  • Ground Level & Premises Drop-Off: Delivery personnel will transport large goods to your building premises or to the ground floor entrance wherever physically accessible for logistics vehicles.
  • Higher Floor Delivery Limitations: Logistics agents are not equipped to haul heavy solid wood furniture up higher floors or narrow staircases. Customers residing on upper floors are requested to arrange their own labor/manpower in advance or post-delivery to transport items upstairs.
  • Entryway Fit Liability Waiver: Kathakaar Studio accepts no liability, refunds, or cancellations if furniture fails to fit or pass through stairways, elevators, entry doors, or interior hallways.
