Description

Saanjh (Candle Stand) is inspired by the quiet ritual of Haveli Ki Shaam. Every evening, the haveli would ease into a slower rhythm, a moment of thehrav, a familiar pause. With the lighting of a single moombatti, the space transformed, softening the air, the mood, and the hour itself. It is an ode to those intimate moments when a simple flame turned an ordinary evening into something warm, timeless, and deeply comforting.

Inspired by this lingering sense of stillness, Saanjh is designed to bring warmth and a gentle glow into contemporary homes. A sculptural object, crafted in brass-finished metal and solid teak wood, comes with two Mogra-scented candles, their khushboo evoking a sense of ghar, of sukoon, and of evenings that feel as though they have always belonged to you.

Features

Crafted from solid teak wood using the traditional Kharad wood-turning technique, each piece carries the warmth and character of handcrafted work.
Wood is finished with a stain free, 0% VOC polish, allowing the grain to breathe, to hold warmth, to carry time. Brass PVD Coated top is designed to comfortably hold candle wax, allowing for easy cleaning without staining.
Subtle variations in colour and texture are a natural result of the hand-finishing process, making each piece unique.
Care : Wipe with clean and dry or wet cloth post 7 days of receiving the product as that is a general curing period of the oil. Any wax residue on the wood can be gently removed with a damp wipe.

Every shaam, the haveli settled into the same quiet ritual. She reached for the moombatti, and with the lighting of a single flame, the space seemed to exhale. The fragrance of mogra slowly settled in the air, while light rested gently on wood, on brass, and on yaadein. Rooms didn’t just glow, they slipped, into a slower, softer hour.
